The Boston Red Sox took two of three games in Toronto, and Clay Bucholz was pretty dominating in his game against the Blue Jays. Now, the Blue Jays are accusing him of throwing an illegal pitch during that game.

Toronto Blue Jays' announcer Jack Morris called out Bucholz for throwing a spitball before the Thursday night game. Bucholz pitched beautifully that night, and the Sox beat the Jays 10-1. So what is making Morris say this?

The tape that rolled before the pregame of the Toronto broadcast showed Bucholz rubbing his forearm, and it looks like there is a foreign substance on his arm. The move wans't mentioned during the Wednesday game, so how did it come to Morris' knowledge?

I found out because the guys on the video camera showed it to me right after the game. I didn't see it during the game. They showed it to me and said, 'What do you think of this?' and I said, 'Well, he's throwing a spitter. Cause that's what it is.

- Jack Morris

Bucholz is saying that the only thing he loaded up with that night was rosin, which is completely legal. Buchholz also thinks they may be concerned with the stains on his shirt, which he says he's been wearing for the last three years. Manager John Farrell also came to his defense saying it looks like rosin on his arm, and that's it.
