Anibal Sanchez and Tiger relievers were able to shut down the Red Sox bats last night and take Game One of the ALCS.

The Sox were held hitless until the 9th inning when Daniel Nava was able to get a single. In spite of the lack of hits, the Red Sox did leave several batters on base due to walks.

Jon Lester gave allowed just the one run but that proved to be the difference.

Game two is tonight. WBSM pregame time is 7:30pm.
