73,000 full-sized vans in North America are being recalled by Ford due to a wiring problem that could cause fires and other electrical issues.

According to WPRI 12, the recall covers Ford Transit vans from 2015 through 2017 which have a trailer tow computer module.

Ford states that water can enter the module and cause corrosion, which could cause an electrical short and an increased fire risk.

The company also says that it knows of two fires in Canadian fleet vehicles that could be related. Those fires had no reports of injuries.
