Radio Tribute to Victims of Boston Marathon Bombings

flickr

Next Monday, April 22 at 2:50 pm, many radio stations in the metro-Boston area plan to observe a minute of silence to honor the victims of the Boston Marathon tragedy.

It was at approximately 2:50 pm that two bombs exploded at the Marathon, causing irreparable harm and destruction. It would be appropriate for WBSM AM 1420 to also join in this moment of reverence.

Both Taylor Cormier and I agree that this would be a fantastic idea. How would you like to see this minute observed? With silence, or bells tolling or how? Please leave us your thoughts.
