Rabid Fox Plaguing Fairhaven
Fairhaven town officials are warning area residents to be on the looking for rabid foxes that may be lurking in the Long Road area. Fire Chief Tim Francis tells WBSM News, his department is sending out a reverse 9-1-1 call in that area of town.

The latest incidents happened Tuesday morning when a fox beleived to be rabid, chased a bicycle along Birchfield Street. Another incident happened later on Long Road, with a fox chasing two bikes, and “acting crazy” according to witnesses. Health officials believe its the same animal involved in both instances.
