As you know, the ground hog was wrong. Back on Feb. 2nd, Punxatawney Phil predicted that spring was just around the corner, but he has since proven to be incorrect. Now, a prosecutor in Ohio is indicting the rodent.

Mike Gmoser of Butler County filed an official-looking document this week alleging that Phil acted "with prior calculation and design" to cause people to believe that spring would arrive early. Citing "aggravating circumstances," Gmoser calls for "the death penalty" as Phil's punishment.

One of Phil's handlers, John Griffiths,is convinced that the groundhog will be acquitted when all the evidence is considered.

Which leads us to say, "Really?!"
