Preview of the New Bedford Half Marathon

Organizers of the New Bedford Half Marathon expect a record turnout of runners this Sunday. The 13 mile road race begins at 11am downtown, near City Hall. Race organizer Dan Mccarthy tells WBSM news, some elite runners may be entering the race at the last minute, but the defending men's champ is coming back.....

The Friendly Son's of St. Patrick is overseeing the race, with help from the City of New Bedford, Baycoast Bank and other sponsors. WBSM will have live coverage of the half-marathon beginning at 10:45.
