Pot Plants Found in Westport

Westport Police are asking the public for help in locating the growers of 30 marijuana plants found behind Jiggy Street, in North Westport.

The plants were found on September 18th, but Police kept quiet about the discovery, and conducted surveillance on the area.  Now Police have decided to go public, and they're asking area residents to come forward with any information they might have.

Police told the Standard Times, the plants were about eight feet long, and were valued at about $45,000 on the street.  Anyone with information is asked to call Westport Police at 508 636-1122
