It appears that both projected number one overall pick, Markelle Fultz, and Isaiah Thomas are interested in combining forces on the 2017-2018 Boston Celtics.

Fultz, who has long been one of the two or three top projected players coming out of the 2017 NBA Draft, has spoken multiple times about an excitement to play with Thomas in Boston.

Most recently, the potential top pick said that he and Thomas "would be a great backcourt," when speaking with Michael Felger of CSNNE.

Fultz went on to say that he thinks the chemistry between himself and the C's top scorer "would be amazing."

As for Thomas, he also seems to believe that he and Fultz can produce good results working in the same backcourt.

According to Thomas, he and Fultz, who both attended the University of Washington, are close friends and have recently talked.

This looks like it could be the start of a strong tandem in Beantown and one that the fans might love.
