Pope Francis Says Church Should Be “Home For All”
Pope Francis is calling on the Catholic Church to end it's "obsession" with abortion and same-sex relationships.
The "New York Times" reports the Pope told an Italian Jesuit Journal it's not necessary to focus on those issues and the church should be a home for all. He said the primary objective should not be preaching what he called a limited agenda of "moral" doctrine.
His views have earned criticism from some in the orthodox Catholic community who take a hard-line stance against abortion and homosexuality. (Metro Networks Inc)
