A magical moment on Easter Sunday for one Rhode Island family, as the newly elected Pope Francis reached down and hugged their son.

The Gondreau family, of Johnston, RI, celebrated Easter Sunday at the Vatican. They probably would have never thought that the pope would be forever in their memories.

When the pope's vehicle came by the couple- who were were there with their five children (including Dominc, who is 8-years-old and sufferes from Cerebral Palsy) an usher motioned the vehicle to stop. With his mother Christina's help, Dominic was lifted up into Pope Francis' arms and embraced.

Video of the touching moment, that moved the family to tears, could be seen all over the world. A very magical, spiritual and memorable moment for this Rhode Island family.
