Most Americans believe Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney turned in a stronger debate performance than President Obama.  A CNN poll of debate-watchers found Romney was the winner of the first presidential debate last night in Denver, by 67-percent to 25-percent.  A CBS News poll of undecided voters found 46-percent leaning toward Romney, 22-percent for Obama and 32-percent saying it was a tie. The Boston Herald quotes Stonehill College professor Peter Ubertaccio as saying, quote, "This was the worst performance by an incumbent since 1992."  University of New Hampshire professor Andrew Smith said, quote, "Overall, big win for Romney."
