Poll: Most Americans Unhappy With Republicans Over Gov. Shutdown

According to a new CBS News poll most Americans are unhappy with the GOP over Democrats when it comes to the Government Shutdown. 

While both sides are playing the blame game, 44% of American people polled blame the republicans for the shutdown. 35% are holding President Obama and the Democrats responsible for the shutdown.

As a whole, 72% of American's disapprove of the shutdown all together. CBS news points out that when the Government shutdown in 1996, 51% of American's blamed the house Republicans, while just 28% felt then president Bill Clinton was at fault.

Right now only 51% of American's believe that a resolution will be reached anytime soon. The parties are both split as to where they believe their representatives should stand. Many republicans think that the reps should hold their ground, while democrats believe the same thing.
