Police: Taunton Man Threatened to Kill Victims with Knife

TAUNTON - A Taunton man is under arrest after police say he held two people at knifepoint over the weekend.

Taunton Police were called to Broadway Saturday evening for a report of two men being threatened by a man with a knife in separate instances.

Police identified the suspect as 43-year-old Marc Pemberton of East Taunton and arrested him. A knife was found during the booking process, along with a single round of ammunition.

One of the victims told police Pemberton said, "I'm going to kill you" as he was holding a knife.

Pemberton was arraigned Monday in Taunton District Court for two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon and one count of possession of ammo without a license to carry.
