Police Seek Help In Locating Robbery Suspect

New Bedford Police are reaching out to the public for help in solving an early morning assault and robbery.

With help from the victim, Police have created a rendering of the suspect (above).

The incident took place on July 17th. Det. Capt. Steve Vicente says a woman was assaulted and robbed of her cell phone in the area of William Street and Acushnet Avenue.

The suspect reportedly wore a shower cap during the robbery.
