NEW BEDFORD — New Bedford Police bust up an alleged Fentanyl distribution service in the city.

Members of the New Bedford Police Department's Narcotics Unit carried out search warrants at 411 Cedar Street, Apt. 1 and Apt. 2, Monday night at about 10:20 p.m., finding small amounts of cocaine, Fentanyl, packaging materials, and $400 in cash.

Jose Pereira, 42, of 411 Cedar Street, Apt. 2, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of Fentanyl with intent to distribute.
