Police Investigate Possible Shooting At Temple Landing

New Bedford Police are investigating a shooting.

Detective Captain Steve Vicente says that the city's shotspotter system was activated shortly before 12 a.m. Wednesday at Middle St. and Ash St. near Temple Landing.

Vicente says no evidence was found at the scene.

A short time later a teenager from New Bedford showed up at St. Luke's Hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to shoulder.

Vicente says it's believed the shooting happened at Temple Landing but that hasn't been confirmed and the victim hasn't been forthcoming.
