Police Investigate Fight At Acushnet Avenue and Walnut St.

New Bedford Police are investigating a fight at Acushnet Avenue and Walnut Street Monday afternoon where as many as six people may have been involved.

Detectives were called to St. Luke's Hospital after two men were treated for minor stab wounds.  One man had cuts to his chin and hand, the second man had a cut to his hand.

The story was first reported by the Standard Times. Both men were interviewed by Police and were expected to be released from the hospital.
