Police Identify Victim in Fatal Crash in Dartmouth
DARTMOUTH – Police have released the identity of a Fall River man that was killed as a result of a rollover crash in Dartmouth Monday night.
43-year-old Robert Heroux was declared dead at the scene after his pickup truck crashed through a telephone pole and struck a stone wall on Cross Road, coming to rest on its roof. Heroux was partially ejected from the vehicle and had to be extricated by emergency crews.
Police say Heroux was the sole occupant of the truck at the time of the crash.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
