Police Arrest Man For ‘Upskirting’ At Providence Place Mall

A man was arrested for taking a picture up a woman's skirt at the Providence Place Mall earlier this week.

ABC6 says a man tried to take a picture up a woman's skirt as she was riding on the escalator on Tuesday.

The woman turned around and yelled at the man who fled the scene.

Police release surveillance video and a police detective from Lincoln identified the suspect as 37-year-old Gary Rasey.

Rasey, who level three sex offender, was also identified by the victim and was arrested and charged with one felony count of video voyeurism.

It's believed Rasey took photos of other women that day and police are encouraging anyone who thinks they may be a victim of Rasey's to come forward.
