Plymouth Man Dies After Wareham Crash

A Plymouth man is dead following a crash in Wareham over the weekend.

Wareham Police say emergency responders were called to the single-car crash just before midnight Sunday on Onset Avenue. Upon arrival, a female passenger was sitting outside of the vehicle with injuries to her face, while the male operator remained in the car, unconscious.

The 42-year-old man was transported to Tobey Hospital in Wareham where he later passed away from his injuries. His identity is being witheld pending notification of next of kin.

The female in the crash was treated for her injuries, which were deemed non-life-threatening.

The crash remains under investigation.
