A Plymouth man is arrested in Wareham after breaking into a local business.

According to Wareham Police, officers responded to an alarm at Ariel's on Cranberry Highway around 2am Sunday morning. When they arrived on scene, officers saw the front door to the business was smashed, with items strewn about the front room with significant damage to merchandise and store equipment.

Police searched the property and found 19-year-old Kevin Pizzi of Plymouth, crouched in the front room. Pizzi was arrested and has been arraigned on charges of breaking and entering in the nighttime, and malicious destruction of property.

Police say Pizzi was intoxicated at the time of arrest and has been placed in protective custody.
