The last two season have been some of the worst the Philadelphia Eagles have had in recent years. In 2011 the team finished at 8-8 after a horrible start.

The Eagles were a favorite in the NFC when the season started, but things turned ugly quick. The team lost 8 games in a row, something that was unheard of under Andy Reid's leadership. At the end of the disappointing season, the team finishes up 2012 4-12.

At the beginning of the season it was made clear by Eagles ownership that unless the team had a successful season, Reid was out as head coach. They made good on that on Monday morning.
