Joe Namath is catching heat for the warm coat he wore at the Super Bowl. The animal rights group PETA twisted the NFL Hall of Fame quarterback's tail after he showed up for the coin toss Sunday night wearing a very big fur coat. PETA tweeted, "The fur on your massive coat was meant for ANIMALS. Please consider FAUX. Namath bought the coat last week at a New York furrier, according to TMZ Sports. The website reports the 70-year-old Namath said, "This is perfect for me" as he plunked down three-thousand dollars for the coat. Namath wore the coat throughout the game at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford New Jersey, where the Seattle Seahawks blew out the Denver Broncos, 43-8 in the first outdoor cold-weather Super Bowl.
