Pedestrian Injured In Dartmouth

A 59 year old man is being treated at Rhode Island Hospital after being struck by a car Friday night on Route Six.

According to the Dartmouth Police Department Facebook page, the mishap happened around 5pm near the Moby Dick Motel.

The man's name and the extent of his injuries were not available.

The driver of the car was identified as 36 year old Kalen Santos of New Bedford.

The crash remains under investigation by the Dartmouth Police Crash Reconstruction Unit.
