Pedestrian Hit By Car In Dartmouth

A Fall River man is being treated for serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Dartmouth over the weekend.

According to Detective Kyle Costa, the accident took place just after 1AM Sunday morning outside of The King's Inn when a 62-year-old woman struck the pedestrian with her car.

The 34-year-old Fall River man was transported to Rhode Island Hospital where he's being treated for serious injuries. The driver was not hurt.

The crash is under investigation by the Dartmouth Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit.
