With Doc Rivers gone, the Boston Celtics are focused on rebuilding their historic franchise, but does that mean giving up to key veterans?

Right now Adrian Wojnarowski from Yahoo Sports is reporting a possible trade in the works to not only trade Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, but send them to the Brooklyn Nets, a team in their own division.

The deal that would involve getting rid of two of Boston's favorite sons would give the Boston Celtics Kris Humphries' expiring contract along with  Gerald Wallace, and Tomike Shengelia. The Celtics would also get three first round picks, but no telling when those picks would be for.

Yahoo reports that Garnett has not been approached about this deal yet, but he would have to waive his no trade clause. They also note that this deal would clear up some cap space for Boston to work with.
