A few days after the New England Patriots formally asked the NFL to reinstate the two team staffers suspended in the wake of the Deflategate controversy, they team got their wish granted.

Both Jim McNally and John Jastremski were suspended from their team positions after being cited in the the Wells Report as members of the Patriots staff that allegedly helped carry out a scheme to deflate New England's AFC Championship Game game balls below league minimum.

According to an official statement from an NFL Spokesperson on Patriots.com, the league has decided that the team fulfilled its requirements for the reinstatement of the two workers and the league has decided to return the two to work.

A report on NFL.com states that NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported earlier in the week that NFL Executive VP of Football Operations Troy Vincent had requested to meet with the two workers about their roles moving forward.

The report also claims that the two are barred from the tasks they previously handled so there will most likely be new job titles for both McNally and Jastremski, when they get back to work.
