The New England Patriots bent but didn't break, as they defeated the New York Jets, 30-23, Sunday at Gillette Stadium.

Here are some thoughts, after the win.

Brady Dominates Again- New England quarterback Tom Brady had another stellar game, completing 34 of 54 pass attempts for 355 yards and two touchdowns. Although he had 20 incomplete passes, his receivers dropped 12 passes throughout the game. Brady also added 15 rush yards and a touchdown on four carries, including a big time scramble on New England's first touchdown drive in the second quarter. The future hall of famer also became the fifth player in history to pass for 55,000 career yards.

Gronk Is Unstoppable- Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski had a strong game, including a nearly perfect second half. Overall, Gronk had 11 catches for 108 yards and a late touchdown that ended up being the difference in the game.

Amendola Steps Up- Veteran receiver Danny Amendola, who was coming off of a 100-yard game last week against the Colts, had another quality game today, making eight catches for 86 yards and a touchdown. Amendola was targeted multiple times by Brady late in the fourth quarter and made a few big catches in the team's final touchdown drive.

Struggling Secondary- The New England secondary struggled all day long against the Jets passing attack. Veteran quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, who fell to 1-7 all time against New England with the loss, had his way with the secondary. Fitzpatrick threw for 295 yards on 22 completions and had two passing touchdowns. The Pats did make a few plays late, but this an area that needs to get much better as the season progresses.

Bouncing Back- The Patriots showed great mental toughness and ability today, bouncing back after an early deficit. They struggled to get things going offensively, early, but they were able to figure things out and make plays when it counted late. At 6-0 and 2-0 in the AFC East, they sit alone atop the division.

Quick Turnaround- New England has a quick turnaround now, as they have three days to prepare for another divisional showdown Thursday night against the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins, who struggled earlier this season, hung 44 points on the Houston Texans today.

All in all, the game didn't go perfectly for the Patriots, though they'll always take a win regardless of how it comes. They showed a lot of mental resolve to battle a tough New York Jets team and come from behind for a clutch division win.
