The New England Patriots have continued to add to their depth along the defensive line, as they signed former New York Giants defensive tackle Markus Kuhn to a contract today.

who grew up in Germany, took to twitter earlier today to confirm that he had in fact signed on with the team.

While his first tweet might have been a bit confusing the foreign import made it clear that he's happy to be with the Pats.

Kuhn played his college football at North Carolina State and was selected by the Giants in the seventh round of the 2012 draft.

In his four seasons with New York, Kuhn played in 39 games, making 10 starts and totaling 48 tackles.

Kuhn will now join a tackle unit that includes newly signed veteran Terrance Knighton along with Malcom Brown, Alan Branch, Dominique Easley, Chris Jones, Ishmaa'ily Kitchen and Joe Vellano. New England will have a no shortage of options along the line when entering preseason workouts this summer.
