Though Kenny Britt had finally worked his way back onto the practice field, as he attempts a return from injury, it appears the veteran's time with the New England Patriots is over.

The team announced, this afternoon, that they have cut Britt.

The Rutgers product, who was selected in the first round of the 2009 draft by the Tennessee Titans, has bounced around the league a bit over his 10-year career.

After coming to New England late last season, Britt played in three games for the Pats, catching two for 23 yards.

The decision to cut Britt further decimates New England's already thin receiving corps.
