After placing starting left tackle Nate Solder on the injured reserve earlier this week, the New England Patriots have reportedly placed another starter on the season ending list today.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Patriots have placed starting cornerback Tarell Brown on the IR with a foot injury.

Brown had had off season foot surgery but was considered healthy throughout the preseason as he made the club as the number to corner behind Super Bowl hero Malcolm Butler.

After getting most of the defensive reps week one against Pittsburgh, it appeared that Brown had re-injured his foot in the team's week two match up with the Buffalo Bills.

After missing week three, Brown did play in last week's win at Dallas, though the injury seemed to be hampering him a bit.

Rapoport reported yesterday that Brown's injury had become serious and he was seeking a second opinion. A bit after that, Brown was officially ruled out for tomorrow's game.

It appears that the team will add offensive lineman Cameron Fleming to the active roster, in place of Brown. Fleming's addition will help fill the void created by Solder's absence.

The team signed former Baltimore Raven Rashaan Melvin off of waivers, after placing Solder on IR earlier in the week. Melvin, a defensive back by trade will most likely see some action tomorrow. Look for Logan Ryan to get the start in place of Brown.
