The lone draft choice to not write his name on the dotted line just yet is quarterback Jacoby Brissett, who the Pats surprisingly snagged with the 91st overall pick in the third round last weekend.

New England also announced that they have come to terms with eight undrafted rookie free agents.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Pats have brought in five undrafted rookies. Defensive backs V'Angelo Bentley, Jonathan Jones and Cre'Von LeBlanc, nose tackle Woodrow Hamilton and linebacker C.J. Jones were all signed to deals.

On offense, the Pats have signed running back D.J. Foster and tight ends Steven Scheu and Bryce Williams.

The addition of three defensive backs is not a huge surprise as the team does not have a wealth of proven depth at the corner positions. At the very least, it's worth bringing the players in for a look and to potentially spur competition with returning players. The undrafted player with the most potential to crack the opening day roster might be Foster, as he has shown the ability to play not only out of the backfield but also split out wide as well. New England has two dynamic backs already on the roster in Dion Lewis and James White, but if Foster can prove to be more of a presence in the backfield he could potentially snag a roster spot.

New England also opened their rookie training camp today.
