People in the Northeast are starting the slow process of recovering from the devastation left by Hurricane Sandy.   There are still thousands without power in Massachusetts, but Gov. Deval Patrick is giving utility companies high marks for their performance so far.

Massachusetts is lending a hand to states hit harder by the devastating hybrid storm Sandy. Governor Patrick has authorized the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency to lend seven staffers to New York state. Massachusetts has also deployed a search and rescue team to Connecticut and New York.
