Parking Ban In Effect In New Bedford

New Bedford Mayor Jon Mitchell has implemented a parking ban in the city of New Bedford in residential areas at 7 pm Saturday night.

Residents should park on the side of the street opposite the fire hydrants.The end of the ban will be determined by the amount of snow that falls in the city. The ban goes into effect in the commercial districts of New Bedford (downtown & the north end) at 11 pm Saturday night. If your car is impeding snow  removal it will be towed..
