Parade Honors New Bedford Veterans, And Parting Ways Patriots

“Four Rusty Mustkets” — The Parting Ways Project, was the focus of a parade and speaking program Sunday in New Bedford. 

The Parting Ways Project is located in Plymouth.  Its the grave sites of four black men who fought for the colony’s during the Revolutionary War.

A delegation from the Sons of the American Revolution were in New Bedford to salute Eddie Johnson, the President of the Parting Ways Project…

Prior to the ceremony at the Whaling Museum, the Sons of the American Revolution teamed with the New Bedford High School  R-O-T-C unit in a parade down William Street, honoring veterans from New Bedford.
