New Bedford police are investigating after a gunpoint robbery of a pizza parlor Thursday night.

Detective Captain Steven Vicente says that a delivery driver was leaving Papa John's Pizza at 260 Coggeshall St. at around 11:10 p.m. when two males entered the store and ordered her to go back to the register.

The manager was also present.

One suspect stood quietly by the door while the suspect with the gun demanded money from the register.

Both were later spotted running north on North Front St.
