Middle School Students And Families Invited to NBHS Open House

New Bedford High School is holding an Open House Wednesday night, and is inviting middle school students and their families from across the city. The event runs from 6-8pm.

School officials said in a press release,  the Open House will highlight the high school's rigorous academic programs, its career academies in such areas as Engineering, Finance and Information Technology, and the largest selection of Advanced Placement classes in the area

State Senate To Consider New Rules For Transparency

The state Senate is considering a proposed set of rules for the 2015-2016 session that includes efforts to improve transparency.
