PACE Seeks Additional Funding From State For Fuel Assistance

Pace's Fuel Assistance program has just about spent all its money, but according to Director Bruce Morell many low income people are still calling and asking for vouchers to purchase heating oil.

Funding in the Federal Fuel Assistance program has been declining since 2008 and Morell is hoping the Governor and State lawmakers will step up.....

Morell spent time in Boston this week, meeting with lawmakers about additional funding.

He says for the most part, State officials were receptive, but there's no guarentee that help is on the way.
