Mother Teresa said the most terrible poverty is loneliness and the feeling of being unloved. When local folks need a helping hand, many times they turn to agencies like PAACA, Positive Action Against Chemical Addiction. The need to help support PAACA is greater than ever, with the huge spike in opioid cases reported.

If you have gently used men's clothing, there's a growing need to help local men, some of whom have very little to wear because of incarceration and other reasons. Over the years, PAACA has expanded its reach to better serve the community by adding programs that build hope. But hope doesn't work without you. If you can donate any gently used men's clothing, please drop them off between 9am - 4pm at PAACA, 360 Coggeshall St., New Bedford, MA. Call with questions at 508-997-9051. If you can help out, it would be really appreciated.
