The owner of a Malden welding company denies responsibility for the fire that killed two Boston firefighters, and he wants the complaint dismissed.   The "Boston Herald" reports he and his company are named in a lawsuit filed by the estate of the owner of the building that was destroyed.

Investigators say sparks from welders' torches at the rear of 296 Beacon Street eventually started the fire that gutted 298 Beacon Street.

Firefighters Edward Walsh and Michael Kennedy died in the March 26th fire.
