Chances are you never heard of "Molly," the new chemical club drug responsible for killing a young Plymouth State University student, Brittany Flannigan, and hospitalizing two others at the Boston night club, House of Blues, Wednesday night.

Molly or MDMA is a potent chemical used in ecstasy that gives intense feelings of pleasure, but after the high comes an overwhelming, catatonic and zombie like depression. The way it kills people is it raises the body temperature suddenly, and as it races up, it causes seizures and then cardiac arrest.

Many adults may not be familiar with Molly, but popular songs mention it and the chemical is now showing up in small towns.
