The Orioles powered their way to an 8-2 win over the White Sox amid eerie silence at Baltimore's Camden Yards.

Today's game was played in an empty stadium that was closed to fans.  That decision came after Monday's and Tuesday's games were postponed due to the riots and protests in the city over the death of African American Freddie Gray while in police custody.

Baltimore wasted little time taking control of the game, scoring six times in the first inning.  Chris Davis hit a three-run homer that bounced onto Eutaw Street and went untouched with no fans around.

The O's weekend series against the Tampa Bay Rays Friday, Saturday and Sunday is being moved to Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.
