Oprah Says “Disrespect” Shown Pres. Obama Likely Due To Race

Oprah Winfrey says President Obama is enduring a level of disrespect not seen by any president before him, most likely due to his race.

Touring the UK to promote her recent film "Lee Daniels' The Butler," the media mogul was asked in an interview with the BBC whether she thought the treatment the President has received was due to the fact that he's African-American.

Oprah said the thought had probably "crossed her mind" as many times as it had crossed her interviewer's mind then said, "Probably it's crossed my mind more than it's crossed your mind."
