Roseanne Barr made a celebrated comeback to her show Roseanne in March of this  year. Like the original series, I never caught an episode. I just can't take her voice. The cast isn't aesthetically pleasing to look at, which in my simpleton mind, helps to draw me to give shows a chance in the first place. It just wasn't my bag, my cup of tea.

I also know, however, that I did not like what I heard or read of her outside of her show. She gave that notorious and horrid rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner which is still top Youtube clickbait. She also says some really tacky, uneducated, ignorant and frankly idiotic things. I've read Twitter exchanges between her and the foul-mouthed prostitute/actress Stormy Daniels. I lost 18 points off my IQ as a result of it.

She once won over the liberal audience, and in her comeback with the pro-Trump MAGA sentiments offered in the script, she lost them and was embraced by the right. I'm told that she was nearing the cliff of the politically incorrect abyss on a weekly basis, and that one last straw was already being gauged by ABC executives.

Roseanne Barr provided the "last straw" this week on Twitter, the Russian Roulette of social media. But it wasn't Twitter that did her in. Roseanne's career died yesterday with a single racist tweet, which can not be accepted by reasonable people.

"muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj," she wrote.

Jarrett, an African American born in Iran, is a former senior adviser to President Obama and was thought to be the architect for many Obama policies unpopular with conservatives. I'm not sure why, in May of 2018, this salvo was fired by Barr in the first place. Who cares about Jarrett these days?

This was not only designed to hurt Valerie Jarrett, but included her implications that all Africans and Muslims are subhuman, a real sentiment by European colonialists only 150 years ago in this nation as well...and a sentiment that is alive and well today, as we see by Roseanne's tweet.

You all know I am anything but politically correct. I attack black opportunistic activists when I see an agenda with ulterior motives. I call out Islam for the lack of responding to the many attacks on non-Muslims across the globe. That should not be mistaken for me being a racist or bigot. I'm just not afraid to confront wrongs when I see them, no matter what political cover the perpetrators use to shield themselves.

Please spare me the comparisons from the left, which ABC has ignored and has, by its silence, endorsed. I'm well aware they continue to keep on the payroll people who have espoused an apparently acceptable brand of hatred; toward whites and toward President Trump:

Let us also be honest that this was not an Archie Bunker moment. This was not a Fred Sanford "gorilla cookies" insult toward his homely but lovable sister-in-law, Aunt Esther. This remark wasn't from her character, Roseanne Conner. This was the actress/executive producer, a real U.S. citizen, Roseanne Barr, making an ugly observation about a former serious player in American and international politics.

We cannot pretend to think otherwise. I don't care what the "other side" does as much as I do care about what those who claim to carry the flag of conservationism say.

I'm in this camp because I believe we are the good guys. We should be held to higher standards than the nutty liberals. Hollywood is scorched earth as far as I'm concerned.

Main stream media is also scorched earth. The fair reporting is gone. The evenhanded justice is anything but. Conservatives are in the cross hairs of the dangerous left. Roseanne is a just and fair target to destroy, and for that there is no excuse.

If liberals are anything, they are predictable. Schedule a guaranteed steering of Barr's comment to be laid at the feet of President Donald J Trump. As surely as water will wet you, the left will convince their army of parrots that it is all his fault.
