A poorly worded law that tried to ban internet cafes in Florida has been revealed to have banned all devices connected to the internet in the state.

Back in April, Florida lawmakers attempted ban internet cafes across the state after the lieutenant governor was forced to resign after a scandal. A former internet cafe owner was suing the state for forcing him to close when his lawyer discovered the glitch in the bill.

According to the report, the law is worded so poorly that Florida has banned all computers and smartphones in the entire state. Their goal was to limit online gambling, but instead of just saying that they wanted to ban slot machines hooked up to the internet, they said 'any device' that can be used for online gambling.
