Sagamore Bridge Remains Closed To Traffic

All lanes are closed on The Sagamore Bridge.

The bridge was closed around 6:45 a.m. Friday following a head crash involving a cranberry truck and another vehicle.

The crash caused the truck to spill its cargo and debris was all over the roadway.

One lane was briefly re-opened for On-Cape traffic, but all lanes were closed again to facilitate cleanup.

Massachusetts State Police say one person suffered serious injuries and was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries.

A second victim suffered minor injuries and declined to be taken to the hospital.

Bourne Police say another crash took place shortly after that near the Stop & Shop Gas.

There was an injury reported in that second crash.
