A New Jersey woman has been charged with trying to defraud a charity that aids the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings.

Authorities say 44-year-old Iris Gamble of Linden of New Jersey submitted a claim with the One Fund Boston, saying she was injured during the April 15 blasts and wanted money from the fund.

But irregularities in her paperwork led officials to believe the claim was a fake. (Associated Press)
