Police say one person is dead and a second is facing drunken driving charges after a late night two-vehicle crash in Attleboro.

Police say a Jeep was involved in a head-on crash with another vehicle at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday on Route 152.

The driver of the Jeep, 32-year-old Jason Kwolek of Pawtucket, R.I., was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening. Police say he faces charges of vehicular homicide, operating under the influence, operating to endanger and speeding.

Police describe the victim as a 24-year-old North Attleborough woman, but did not release her name. She died at the hospital.

Police think Kwolek's Jeep was involved in a hit-and-run in Plainville just minutes before the Attleboro crash. No one was hurt. He faces charges in that incident too. (AP)
