One Dead, Four Injured in Dartmouth Crash

A Rhode Island man is dead after a late night crash in Dartmouth.

Dartmouth Police say emergency crews were called to 1214 Old Fall River Road just before 11pm Sunday night to a single car crash.

The car, driven by 20-year-old Gage Dyson of Riverside, Rhode Island, crashed into a utility pole. Grace and three passengers were transported to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries. A fourth passenger, a 17-year-old juvenile, was transported to Hasbro Hospital in Rhode Island.

Early this morning, one of the passengers, 20-year-old Travis Rainville, passed away from injuries sustained in the crash.

Police say none of the occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

The crash is under investigation.
